Spa Coordinator

At Elevate, we're committed to elevating the human experience, starting with our spa coordinator. This role involves running the operations of the front desk and retail space, requiring comfort with scheduling, discussing financials with clients, and meticulous attention to detail. As the public face of our company, our spa coordinator plays a crucial role in conveying our brand and aesthetic through their demeanor and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

  • Strong communication skills; a "people person"

  • Administrative skills such as filing, creating documents and emails, and handling small projects

  • Previous experience in a high-end boutique or spa (preferred)

  • Proficiency in use of computers and tablets

  • Familiarity with Square and similar scheduling systems (preferred, training will be provided)

  • Ability to lift 20 lbs

  • Compassionate communication with clients and effective handling of customer service issues

  • Quick thinking and multitasking abilities

  • Competence in counting money and making change

Responsibilities:

  • Establish trust with clients to help retain and grow our customer base

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering phones and emails promptly, checking clients in/out, and scheduling appointments

  • Address general inquiries about Elevate offerings

  • Facilitate sensory deprivation tank sessions

  • Sell retail items, gift cards, and class packages

  • Check students into classes

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house, including restocking supplies and merchandise as needed, and cleaning treatment rooms and restrooms to maintain a high quality of care.

Job Type: Starting part-time with up to 20 hours per week initially, with the goal being full-time transition to replace current full-time employee beginning August 2024.

Schedules: Minimum 2 days per week when part-time, minimum 4 days per week when full-time. Availability required Monday-Friday, with weekend availability required when full time.
